Rachel Feinauer
Growing up in Northern Kentucky, I am grateful for the opportunity to bring individualized health care to our community. As a medical student at the Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine, my educational foundation was based on treating the entire person. The medical care approach I learned promoted patient education and preventative care, with an understanding of the importance of restoring the body’s natural ability to heal. This has motivated me to continue to expand on my medical training in areas of Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy (OMT) and Medical Acupuncture.
I completed Internal Medicine Residency at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. It was inspiring to me to train under some of the most compassionate physicians in our community. I am grateful for these experiences and for the opportunity to serve there as chief medical resident.
As I stepped into my role as a Primary Care physician, I held onto the desire to practice medicine where I had the time to dedicate to my patients and include offerings that promoted health and wellness. As a partner physician of Embody Health DPC, I am excited to be able to expand on my approach to patient care. My training in Internal Medicine, Osteopathic Medicine, Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy, Medical Acupuncture, Yoga Instruction, and Ayurveda Health Coaching continue to inspire me on my journey to providing health care to my community.
I am blessed to have a wonderful family that has supported me throughout my life and I enjoy spending time with them, my boyfriend, my friends, and my dog Jack. I love yoga, hiking, biking, crocheting, and making healthy meals.
